Dallas Diamond was a well known Quartz farmer in the Crystal Deserts. It is said that he rode around the deserts on a rhinestone covered steed, and in his younger days would travel West to our mermaid kingdoms to make a living bedazzling the tails of our mermaids. The mermaids used to try and lure him into forgoing his legs for a tail, so that he could live with them under the waves- but Dallas had dreams of a young cowgirl whom he had yet to meet and refused to abandoned this imaginary girl of his dreams.
One day Dallas was riding through the deserts when he finally met her. He found a young cowgirl illegally digging for diamonds in the desert hills. While all desert dwellers are legally obligated to report any illicit activities- Dallas saw her face in the moonlight and recognized her from his dreams. He fell madly in love with this sparkle crazed woman and they soon got married. Her name was Crystal Quartz, and they still live in our Crystal Deserts where they grow Aura Quartz and fabricate amazing creations for the Crystal Deserts.
Dazzling as a diamond and one of the most incredible pieces we have discovered in the Crystal Deserts of Jackalope Land- The Desert Diamond Jacket belongs to Dallas and was made for him on his wedding day. Crystal made a matching one for herself, and they are two of the most stunning jackets we have ever seen, so we decided to recreate them for you. When midnight falls, the jacket turns into the most beautiful black version of our white Denim jacket- which is no available for all you mythical humans.
The jacket is handmade from black denim, then beaded for over three weeks by Crystal to create one of the most ornate pieces from the realm of Jackalope Land to date.
The jacket has crystal rhinestone fringe hanging off the chest and back, and has been beaded with hand drawn western motifs straight from our magical deserts. Gorgeous moonbeam sequins adorn the front and back, with small pearls outlining our hand drawn designs. The cuffs have some light blue detailing and crystals from our mystical deserts have been stitched onto the shoulders and front of the jacket so that you can carry magic powers around with you.
The denim Jacket has been made to be slightly over sized, so if you want a tighter fit, we recommend going a size down. The front of the jacket does up with denim buttons, and has pockets in the front, on the inside and on the chest. How Long Until I Get My Magic?
In Jackalope Land, our mythical creatures work as hard as possible to get your item up and out as quickly as possible–but all of our magic is handmade and cannot be rushed. We try to keep all items in stock but be prepared to wait (maximum) 4 weeks before it is shipped.
How does it work?
If the item you ordered is labeled “in stock” we will post it out immediately and it should be with you in 1-2 weeks (plus 2-3 days processing time).
If the item you ordered is labeled “made to order”, we usually need 4-8 weeks to make the magic, then maximum 1-2 weeks for it to arrive at your door.
If you have a deadline we need to meet don't worry! Just send us an email so we can give you a time estimate and we’ll try our best to work around your deadlines as well.
Please note that when we send your tracking number to you, it is your responsibility to keep an eye on your package and inform us if it does not arrive within a maximum of three weeks from the date your tracking number was sent to you. If there are any delays, we recommend contacting your local post office. If there is a problem, feel free to send us an email and we will help in any way we can.
Shipping & Postage
At the moment we post all items (except the sequin overalls) with DHL International from our mermaid lagoon in Indonesia. We take up to 3 days to process your order before it is posted. You then have the option of regular post (6-10 days) or express (3-5 days). For more shipping rates, feel free to contact us.
All overalls are shipped from Canada with Canada Post.
If your order contains overalls and another design that comes from our Indonesia Studio, you will receive two separate packages and tracking numbers.
Right now we are offering free shipping for orders over $200 from the USA, UK, Australia, Canada!
Duties and Taxes
Any import duties and taxes are charged once the parcel has reached the destination country and these charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.
If you refuse a package from Jackalope Land, you are responsible for original shipping charges, any import fees that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Jackalope Land. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund. In the instance, the return fee exceeds the amount of the merchandise plus shipping costs, the package will be abandoned and you will not be refunded.
Unfortunately we have no control over these charges as customs policies vary country by country. If you have any questions, you are advised to contact your local customs!
Our mythical creatures in Jackalope Land all work really hard to ensure that you are completely happy with your purchased sparkle. If you get an item and are not happy with it, we are happy to offer you a refund or exchange.
What are my return or exchange options?
If you receive an item and it isn't quite right for you, you can either:
- Exchange the item for something else
- Exchange the item for store credit
- Return the item and request a refund
How do I return?
- Visit our returns center
- Enter your order number and email address.
- Follow the instructions and select the items you want to return.
- Once your request is approved, you will get a confirmation email with shipping guidelines and instructions.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure to mark the item as a gift and with a value lower than $50USD for shipping, the sender is responsible for any import duty.
What items are returnable?
- Within 7 days from the date of receiving the item
- Items in unused and re-sellable condition
- Items purchased from Jackalope Land directly
- Items in the original packaging with any tags intact
- No return on any Sale Items
- No return on Accessories
- No returns on items that are "Custom Made"
We reserve the right to refuse a return on any item(s) that do not meet these standards.
If you have been sent an incorrect or faulty item, reach out to us within 7 days of receiving the item. Please leave a note in your return to describe what is wrong about the item received, with photographic evidence so we can approve your exchange.
We cannot offer free returns as we are a small independent business. The buyer is responsible for covering the postage costs both ways. We recommend returning the item using tracked postage, as we cannot take responsibility for any items that do not reach us.
As some of our postage cost is included in our pricing, please note that a $20USD postage fee is nonrefundable upon the purchase of any item as well as a 3% transaction fee.
Please note if you send us back an item that is non-refundable, you will need to cover the shipping to get it sent back to you or may lose the item.
Can items be exchanged?
We allow the exchange of purchased items for selectable variants. Once the exchange request is approved, the replaced item will be shipped to you. Please note there is no exchange on sale items.
What are the refund options?
- Refund to the original payment method
- Refund to store credit (if applicable). An extra 10% will be added if you select store credit, you will receive a 110% credit balance for the returned item. Store credits are valid for one year from the date of issue. Please note that items purchased with store credits are non-refundable.
